About Us

MWF UK is one of the largest non-government international charity organisations in the world, with a network of branches and projects in over 100 countries worldwide. It is the torch-bearer of peace, prosperity and equal human rights for all of mankind, irrespective of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, religion, social background or political beliefs.
MWF is fully registered with the UK charity commission, and its four constituent societies are registered under the Societies Act 1961, and are totally self-reliant, operating on charitable donations from both members and non-members worldwide. They are thus independent of funding from any private or government agency, and their accounts are always open for audit inspection and can be viewed at any time by their donors.
Aims & Objectives
- Provision of relief aid to victims in disaster, drought, flood and war stricken areas;
- Illumination by education through academic institutes, vocational training centres, public libraries and mass education centres;
- Alleviation of suffering, poverty and unemployment through the Bait-ul-Maal scheme;
- Set-up of care homes for orphans, widows and the helpless;
- Establishment of modern medical facilities with free treatment for the economically impoverished;
- Protection of individuals, communities and minorities irrespective of age, gender, ethnicity, disability or social status;
- Promotion of social harmony, human rights and equal opportunities for all;
- Elimination of exploitation, injustice and forbidden substances;
- Create awareness of social, moral and religious responsibilities
MWF’s projects can be divided into 4 major categories:
Education · Healthcare · Emergency aid · Welfare support
All our work emerges from these fields. For instance building schools and colleges falls into the education category; providing free medical treatment and surgery falls into the healthcare category; providing rapid relief to a population hit by an Earthquake for example is an application of Emergency Aid; whilst arranging sowing classes for village women thereby giving them an extra sream of income is an application of welfare support.
Thus our slogan becomes “Education, Health, and Welfare”. Our work, our endeavour “Education, Health, and Welfare”.

MWF is Distinguished from other Charities
- We have been operating for over 20 years. This has lent MWF specialist expertise particularly in the areas of Education and Emergency Relief. For instance, we were the first charity to gain access to the earthquake stricken areas of Balochistan and the displaced people of SWAT valley.
- MWF strives to ensure that aid or assistance is not just limited to a day or week. Rather it should be a continuous process until the individuals are considered to be honourable members of society.
- Our office is open from 8am – till late, a reflection of the dedication our staff have to the needy around the globe.
- Due to refined strategic thought, we keep our administration costs to a bare minimum, compared with other charities. This allows us to channel even more finance into our global charitable causes.
- MWF is a leading charity in terms of collecting evidence of its work around the globe. We have a massive collection of photographs and video footage for each and every project. This Ramadan we have produced the 2009 DVD containing 2 hours of documentary footage on our projects. A copy of our latest Annual Report is available in the projects section.
